The Tasting Room

We take walk-in guests as space allows — and reservations are encouraged for larger parties.

The Polynesian Girl tasting room sits at the Somerset four corners — intersection of Bucks Bar Road and Mt. Aukum Highway, right next to the Gold Vine Grill, in the heart of El Dorado County wine country. Pour by pour, we walk you through our estate-grown Cabernet, Malbec, and Petite Sirah, along with ourTahitian pearl jewelry on display behind the bar.

Pets welcome on the patio. Wine club members taste at no charge.

Tastings

Estate Tasting — $10
Estate pours at the live-edge bar. Waived with any bottle purchase.

Pearls & Pours Reserve Flight — $20
Our reserve-tier pours over the Tahitian pearl cases, with the stories behind both.

Wine club members always taste free.

As the critics put it — our 92-point 2019 Estate Cabernet is “worth the extra couple of dollars.”

The Estate

Apetahi Vineyard

Nestled in the Fair Play AVA above 2,200 feet, Apetahi Vineyard is the home of Polynesian Girl Wine and the birthplace of every bottle. The vineyard itself is a private working estate — but you'll taste it in every pour at the tasting room.
